How cold are you?

Postby daverosy » Tue Dec 15, 2009 3:28 am

A question to my friend Reid Ryder of Edmonton, Alberta.

When it's -50 degrees C. How cold is cold?

Not that I'd ever try, but when you put your tongue to an insulator (outside), does it stick?

I've collected from the wild many Prairie pieces, god knows how they survive the extremes. -50 to +40!

Cheers and tuck in tonight.

Oh, wanna trade a midnight blue <> pony for and extra lump of coal for the fire?

Take care,
Dave in (rainy) Vancouver.

Hi Dave, yeah, cold is the word the past few days here in sunny Edmonton. Getting warmer tho, a balmy -26 today. If you can believe the weather forecasters it will be +1 on Thursday. Alberta weather is amazing. Snow too, I've already used my snow blower more this year than all of last year and it's not even winter yet.
Probably lots of snow around your cabin in the hills. Should be nice. Lots of rain in Van.
I don't think I'll try the tongue on insulstor thing but maybe I can trick Marcia into trying it. Kidding!! :D

All the best, Reid
