HehHeh... Ya it was a Nice one, I picked it back in 2006 or so, and gave it and another piece to a collector Buddy of mine for letting me stay at his place for a bit while I was in the area during my off days, saved me a long drive home, so I went out hunting and since he wasn't able to come along. I snagged a few goodies, and a couple for him. Needless to say he was quite Happy with the 2, which is what this hobby is all about!!!.... :)

How this went from Happy Birthday Reid... lol.

BUT I have a couple 143 unembossed Montreals in blue that are all snotted up close to that.

It just adds more evidence to the case that slug plates are close cousins, if not step brothers.

same profile, same glass, same hefty weight, same finish except for the plate. Nice old pieces.

Cheers folks.
