The ad does say "baked on finish"
I'm no expert, but it looks fake to me

Well... yeah, I see that now, but... the original finish would have been baked on too, right?? I thought the incused CPR's were unglazed up inside the inner skirt until I checked some of ours and found them glossy too. So I'm still wondering if this is real or fake. Anyone have, or ever see, another in this kind of pumpkin-y colour glaze??

Then again, seeing as how the same seller is also offering this...

... I think I may have my answer!

As Gilda Radner used to say on SNL in character as Miss Emily Latella, "...never mind!!" !!!

This person sells nothing by "altered" insulators. Sometimes he even takes pieces and decreases the values by doing this. One time he had a CD133 NE Can stained some weird colour, should of left it alone for sure.

Between all the stained insulators and commemoratives on the Eplace it's hard to find a authentic insulator on there. I've been noticing less and less real glass. There are just as many fakes as there are reals on there now....sad.

I've also noticed an explosion of foreign glass on Ebay in the past few months, nothing wrong with that just wondering if anyone else has noticed.

Jay

Sorry for my lack of posting in the past 6-10 months, ill try and contribute more.
