Has any one seen or heard of the 190/191 single, diamond transposition? this is the one listed in the price guide as light blue.Instead of having 2 diamonds on the bottom piece(2-front,2-back )this variant has only 1 diamond on the front, and one diamond on the back. In twenty years of collecting i have never been able to confirm if these exist. Come to think of it you dont see many diamond tramps being offerd for sale except for the royal one. I had an american collector friend tell me that in the nineties there was a fellow in eastern canada that had an old mobile home on his property with 600 royal diamond tramps filling it up! food for thought on who ultimately wound up with those.

I have never seen one and not quite sure they actually exist. Pretty sure they do not. But I am sure it will never be removed from the price guide it is failry easy to get new listings in but like pulling teeth to get one removed. About 8 years ago rossatto took a couple 45 gallon drums full of purple tramps out of the norht west of the province gottem for a song I was told.

Hi Gerry,
I have seen 3 of the single diamond 190/191's. All plain old aqua. All came out of Ontario. Considering the pile of 190/191's I got in Saskatchewan over the years, and the variety of manufacturers and colors I was surprised none showed up out there. I think the single diamond tramps are a terribly underrated insulator, but because of the color they don't command much respect. Two of them were mint and one was crashed. I will see if I can get a photo.

Hi Gerry and Craig,
Sorry it took so long to get this picture posted. Camera's, computers and I are not always best friends:) At any rate here is the single diamond tramp. Tops are the same for single and double diamond. I have seen only 3 of these and all have been the same colour.
Regards, Paul
