What's the general consensus on the colour on this one? Sure looks good on my screen, but I'm no expert. Thanks for any contributions....

It certainly looks like one of the teal green shades. Bob knows his insulator colors.

Looks good to me one of the lighter shades though I have one that is much darker only ever had 2 of the darkest shade one in my collection other I sold in a catalogue auction for around 500.00. Most come in a slightly dark shade than the one bob has pictured.

Forgot all about this deal, but with Craig reviving this post, now I remember. Scooped this one up for $100 U.S. at the annual Huron Valley show in Michigan that happens every October. Heck of a deal Bob Alexander gave me. I think I posted this sales ad after I bought it for some confirmation that this was a good deal if the colour was true.

Its not really teal though is it? Us canadians call it teal for want of a better description. Still fairly tough to find.

I think american's call it teal green as well the teal part probably partially came from the fact that they came from the same mold style as the teal blues(are they actually teal blue?). They are tough little ponies to come by I found a couple pockets of these over the years.

I always thought that the colours 'teal blue' and 'teal green' were named for the 2 species of duck, though when it comes to the green I'm not sure if the colour refers to the patch on the head or the wing.
