Dominion Display

Postby canadianglass » Mon Jun 07, 2010 10:50 am

Hello,I was wondering if anyone on this site has ever seen or heard of a display piece for dominion insulators,it is a semi circle approx. sixteen inches long by eight inches high by four inches wide.It has a pin coming straight out of the top with two more on each side spaced evenly. It has Dominion in an arc embossed on the front and it is all made of wood.Just wondering if this is a collectors invention or if this is a true display piece .Looks to be something that was truely made for Dominion.Maybe used in the factory window.Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks Curtis

This is not what your asking about but thought that I'd point out that Dominion was a common name for a variety of businesses. This sign is for Diamond, another common enough name, I have no idea what or where this cast metal sign was used for, I highly doubt it was for insulators, but keep it just cause it's kinda interesting.
