As a newcomer to the world of e-bay collecting(3 months) I was wondering if some of you out there would have information on how often purple(any shade) 162.4 1678s come up for bid? I know these are pretty tough to come by anywhere but has anyone seen or bid on any item like this in the past? Im trying to get a few in different shades but havent seen any at all...

purple swirled sharp drip point ones I have seen 3 or 4 in the last 10 years. As for the smooth base ones I have seen probably fewer of them. I have managed to acquire a couple shades of them but I dont think any where from ebay.

Wow thats not too many for sure.I found a 162.4 with 1678 embossing and sharp drips in grey with purple swirls in an antique shop here in the mid nineties for 7 bucks!it seems that any of these purple hi-domes(with the exception of the royal purple unembossed RB) are really tough, seems to be a lot of good canadian glass on the e-place but none of these!thanks for the info craig...
