Hi guys, quick question.

The price guide lists the CD 164 Diamond in both "clear" and "smoke", do either of these exist?

Thanks,
Lee.

I'm no colour expert, but there is one that was listed on insulators.info as 'steel grey'.

Is this close enough to assume that the colours you mentioned exist?

Thanks for the reply Jesse.

It's tough to tell from the picture, but I'm guessing that one is either the "light blue gray" or "light steel blue" that are both listed in the price guide.

Lee.

Years ago i had a164 Diamond in what i called smoke ,no blue shade at all. I believe George Nowacki found a small bunch of damaged examples in the early nineties near Sudbury Ont. It seems possible that these were made the same time as the 190-191 diamond tramps,as they seem to come in a run of the same colors(excepting the royal purple tramp). just my two cents!

Hi All:
I'll second that thought. I have one of George's smoke/grey 164s.
I'm having trouble finding all my 164 <>s though. I'm sure I have a pink tint example too.
The clear version is probably quite rare, tougher than the purple color to find.
