OVIC 2011 Date ?

Hi All:
I was wondering if anyone had an opinion as to the date of OVIC 2011?
April 23rd is Easter weekend.
April 30th is the weekend of Maplefest in Perth.

Both dates are available with the Lions Hall.

Any comments or suggestions

Hi Robin,
I'm hoping to make it this year. I remember one year it was booked the same weekend as Easter and we had a lower than usual dealer setup due to family commitments that weekend. Just a thought.

Hi Robin,

If those are the only dates available in April, then the 30th is probably the best bet. I agree also that Easter is not the best
weekend for this. It might be a good thing that it is on the Maplefest weekend as there are more people in town and they might be curious to come and check it out.

Hi All:
Thanks for the replies guys! I've had two others via the phone and basically we're leaning away from the Easter weekend.
If we go earlier in the month there's a greater risk of snow and if we go into May, sometimes the weather is to good and the turn out drops off a bit. It's a tricky thing

Fire away if anyone has any other thoughts on next year's meet.

The April 30th date sounds good.

Having it on the same weekend as the MapleFest could be a help. You should see if you can link up with them and tie into their promotions in some way.
