Hi Allan,
Nice find, I bet the old ticker skipped a beat or two when those threadless started to pop out of the ground. Looks like you'll have to make a few return trips to that spot and do some screening for the small glass chips. It'll be nice to see them if you can repair them as much as possible , keep us posted with pictures if you can.

Take care
Aidan

I have never heard of finding a "nest" of insulators before, that is one amazing thing right there.

Can't wait to see the follow up pics

Makes me want to move out East.

The only things nesting out here (B.C.) are the birds.

Boy, it's been a dry spell for a while. I've started to give up and turning my attention to other collectibles (Medalta, syphons, crocks,,,)

Thanks for the inspiration and I look forward to a look after they're cleaned up.

Cheers!
Dave.

Wow, now that is what I call an insulator find. :o :o

That is probably the most impressive find I have ever heard of as far as threadless go. The old ticker must of been pumping, if you didn't have the pics I dont know if I would believe a story like that.

Great finds, and I mean great.

Jay

My goodness...

That is one incredible find. That just about puts every threadless find I've ever made to shame! Congratulations on what will very probably be among the greatest finds of the decade!
It looks like the 726 repaired nicely. You didn't mention finding the dome piece, but I am guessing it simply frost-popped in place and the shard was nearby. An amazing find, either way!
The purple 742 literally makes my mouth water. That's kind of odd... ;)
