Amber two tone

Postby novascotiaglass » Wed May 28, 2014 6:46 pm

My first post in a long time. Two nights ago I was able to add a new colour to my CD154 Dominion amber lineup. I snagged an orange amber with damage and a mint honey amber/yellow amber two tone. I went to check out the pieces thinking the two tone was a normal honey but was pleasantly surprised when I got it out in the day light and saw the colour separation. Of all the amber dominions I have handled this was the first true two toner. The picture isn't the greatest (still rocking the Iphone 3)but you can see the colour separation.

I am still active in the hobby but my finds have really slowed down over the past couple years, although not from lack of effort. Last year I think I only added 2 new insulators, a CD162 1678 in purple and a CD143 NE Can threadless mold in aqua. I hope to add some new pieces this year and get back in the groove.
