A Bit of Success Yesterday...

Postby CliMac » Sun Apr 15, 2012 12:19 pm

...but nothing as dramatic as Chris' find yesterday; that's a tough act to follow. But I have in situ photos for your enjoyment.

Looks like a small skirt shard on the bank.

But wait, it's more than a shard!

742 unembossed with chunk missing from skirt.

At another pole site I found a couple of pieces that fit together of another 742 about 12' apart so that one is likely scattered all over. I'm hoping there will be more to find at both of these pole sites, but I will need to thin out the vegetation somewhat in order to do a good search.

It's nice to see everyone has had a great start to the year! Are you coming to perth next weekend?

I don't think so. I guess there's always a chance I could change my mind at the last minute and come as a walk-in, but probably not.
