Local Line Dies

Well the last train has passed and they have started taking up the tracks. This one is an old line originally strung with threadless back in the 1850's some time in the 1870's they replaced the threadless with MOD beehives many of which still remain on the poles. Near road crossings some newer Hemmingrays and Domininons creep in. Since the lines being removed and the poles are probably soon to be removed I set out today to salvage what I can before its gone. More picks to follow but here some of todays finds. Of course as per normal alot of the good stuff was broken. Namely a snowy Brookfield beehive in yellow green. I did however get one battery jar, a number of early beehives, and a brookfield signal with metal chunks in it.
